Very reliable source Nikki Finke (of Deadline) is noting that Oscar-winning-director Alfonso Cuaron will return to the Wizarding World, as he is in deep talks to helm at least the first
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them film, set to release in November 2016.
Cuaron of course collaborated for the series, as director of
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban director over a decade ago. No word yet on confirmation, but let this be the beginning of crew and cast announcements.
