Alexa's grin was infectious, and even if it weren't, Cutty would still be smiling in return at the words she had chosen to say next. "Of course I've got more. Over the summer I've got to visit my grandmother and my father, and since they're both in different countries I thought I might as well take advantage of it and start dealing in the foreign and exotic sweets trade. What did you think of it?" How was the quality of chocolate?
Cutty was already speaking music to her ears with his confirmation that he had MOAR. That was beautiful in itself, was it not? Knowing that that sphinx wouldn't be the last of her chocolate dreams, eaten in the dead of night but not forgotten. If possible her grin spread wider.
"Exotic sweets trade? I like the sound of this already. Of course you'll have to keep me posted on all new stock. I'll try everything at least once." And if she happened to like them--which was usually the case--it would become a regular occurrence. Naturally.
As for what she thought.
"It was lovely. Just the right amount of milk added to the chocolate and it wasn't melting quickly either." Saved her from messy eating while she savoured the treat slowly.
"The first was complementary but how much do you reckon you'll be selling them for?" SPOILER!!: Romanos

Re-holstering her wand, she took a deep breath and smiled. What a wonderful turn out today. Though she supposed it was time to lose the accent as well. "I do hope you all had a lovely summer. I'd noticed on our curriculum there was a particular subject we are to go over that corresponded with this past summer's field trip .I hope you don't mind. I've moved the subject up to today."
Cue the grin. "So...what...do we know...about the undead?"
And here she found herself split between the two loves of her life. Sweets and DADA. As much as she wanted to carry on her conversation with Cutty for an eternity, her attention was swiped by the Professor who'd shut the door then gotten on to starting the lesson. How could she not pay attention? It wasn't like this was Muggle Studies or something useless like that.
Lex leaned forward, propping her elbow on her knee and resting her head in her palm. Her interest was officially peaked. Something that corresponded with the field trip? That epic one with just everything she'd hoped it would be, minus the Vipertooth dragons that never showed up? Neat.
Hearing the question, she was tempted to simply shoot her hand up but made the executive decision to give it some thought first...however little that would help her answer.
"There's no use trying to reason with them so it's best to blast first and ask questions later." SPOILER!!: Airey

Which was a real shame considering the particular song. Classic King of Pop, you know?
Quietly opening the door to the dueling arena - heh, was Mr. Hirase in here? - he not so subtly began to dance his way along the wall until he made his way to the front, all the while humming a certain tune and trying (sort of) not to be to much of a distraction. The crimson hue of his suit made him stand out like a sore thumb in the sea of school robes.
Arriving at the front of the room, the astronomer changed his course and made his way in a very counterproductive way towards Medea until he was standing beside her. "Figured I could lend you a hand," he smirked as he removed exactly that from his enchanted suit pocket, his blue eyes twinkling mischeviously.
What was Professor Airey doing here?
For a split second she'd gotten her hopes up that there'd be a mixed lesson like they had a bunch of last term but then she figured that was once in a lifetime and overly wishful thinking hoping her two favourite subjects would mix.
Sigh.
Lex watched the man curiously as he made his way to the front of the class, not at all surprized by the manner in which he did it, til finally he was there--WITH THE ZOMBIE HAND!!
Could she hold it?
