Definitely not a meal, the boy never ate heavy afterwards. Still in his dance clothes, consisting of sweats, a t-shirt, and sneakers; Jun headed down to the kitchens. His legs were still a bit wobbly so he took slow steps. Finally reaching the kitchens, Jun walked in and saw he wasn't the only one thinking the same thing. Ignoring them all, he took a few oranges and sat up on the counter and started to peel them.
But then he noticed a certain little Hufflepuff eating cake. "Is it good cake?" he called out to Leah, with a small nod.
But oh look who it was. PEEVES. And he was covering the entire kitchen in flour. "OI! Can't you go throw flour at professors instead? Pretty sure they'll appreciate it!" Jun did NOT need his hai white again. Not after last term. He wouldn't even try to get the flour out of his hair. More would just keep coming. Mmm hmmm. Chocolate.
Her mother would not have approved of her sneaking into the kitchens to eat chocolate cake, Leah thought, as she took another bite. Then someone called out to her from the fruits area and she jumped, though she knew somewhere in her brain that it could not possibly be her mother. Phew. It was the Ravenclaw boy she had met during the summer - Jun. Her mouth still containing the chocolate cake, Leah nodded, saying in a muffled voice, "Very. It's chocolate." As if that explained everything, and gestured at him to come and try some. She was quite sure that this cake was better than the orange.
The second year was startled once again by the sudden appearance of PEEVES. He was usually quite funny, if she was watching him causing trouble from the outside. But this time she was one of the victims. Flour in her hair! Screaming, Leah ran towards the only person she knew - Jun. Shaking her head like a wet dog, the girl giggled at the 'throwing flour at professors' statement. However, she clenched her tiny fist angrily.
Who dares to mess up Leah's hair? |
