Mo settled back into his chair as he removed the slightly squashed cake from the box he'd crammed inside his bag, followed by a thermos of tea and an assortment of flattened sandwiches. He'd get the hang on this food packing someday.
"I brought tea. Now then... why are we pretending to be eleven today, rather than enjoying being seventeen? I don't really object to blanket forts or being eleven, but I'm curious. Are you being... nostalgic?" She was just surprising him right and left today.
"Presents first? Or cake?" The most important question of all.
