Jasmine listened as Cris talked about his old school. "Pranks? You wouldn't happen to be an occasional prankster would you? The look on his face answered that question before Cris did. That wasn't just a random comment, it was personal. When he went on to say that he didn't mind if he didn't play Quidditch, Jasmine whispered. "I wouldn't say that too loudly around here. I get the feeling that your statement might be considered heresy." Jasmine had seen the looks on some of her classmates' faces when they heard that Quidditch was cancelled. They seemed to take it pretty seriously.

When Cris said that he was glad that he had met her, Jasmine blushed again. That seemed to be happening quite often lately. Looking up at him, she said very honestly, "I'm glad that I met you too". She couldn't imagine what it would have been like here at Hogwarts without him. Whew, was it getting hot out here?

Cris watched as Jasmine closed her eyes and imagined herself at the lake next to his home. Even that simple action alone, made his heart skip a beat and he smiled in the knowledge that maybe some time in the future, she would come and visit with him. "I have pictures of those sunsets if you want to take a look at that. I don't have them with me right now...they're back in my trunk. But I'll show them to you next chance I get," he told her excitedly.

Then he frowned for a second when the mention of pranking was brought up. He scrunched his nose and scratched the back of his neck, before deciding that he trusted her enough to reveal his bad boy days. "Yes I'm the occasional prankster...or should I say was. It started way back when I was attending muggle school. Sometimes lessons were boring, so I would try to spice them up a bit. I usually got away with it. Not so much in Durmstrang. Detention was more bearable than receiving the Howlers my mother would send me every time I got caught," Cris chuckled even as he recalled those moments.

"If truth be told, I much preferred my mother's howlers to my father's long and tiresome lectures about how much of a disappointment both Sander and I were," Cris sighed sadly as he turned to look out at the Black Lake. It was so peaceful here and he was glad he was here. Far from from his father disapproving looks.

He smiled when Jasmine reminded him about how serious the students took their Quidditch. "It's hard to believe how much life here revolves around Quidditch. However, in the same token, I also understand how hard it must be not being able to play it. Sander had a tough time in the beginning when he came here. He thought he wouldn't be able to play ice hockey here, but a friend of his told him about the Room of Requirements and how it could be anything you wanted it to be. Sander wished for an ice hockey rink and he got it."

"Is there anything you would like for the Room of Requirement to be?" Cris asked Jasmine in turn. Then he noticed her blush when he confessed that he was glad he had met her. When she answered the same in return, all Cris could do was smile at her, lost for words.
