Cris decided that since he was waiting for the next instructions, he would clean up what items he had used so far. Laying his mortar and pestle, the metal stirring spoon, measuring cup and cup, in front of him, he first pointed his wand inside the mortar and saying, "Scourgify," and cleaned it. Then he moved on to the next in line until he had cast the Scouring charm on all of them.

Ending the spell, he holstered his wand, and carefully inspected each one of them to make sure they were carefully cleaned. Satisfied he had done a good job, Cris glanced over at the girl he had been assisting earlier. He could have helped her fill her cauldron with water, but somehow he had a feeling the Professor wouldn't have approved of that. Cris hoped that Angel had somehow mastered the spell by now. If not, using the water from the tap would be her best solution.
