Sophie finished up crushing the griffin claw just in time for Culloden to shout at them, as she had tried to time it properly so no time was wasted. The smell of the two kinds of blood in the air was bothering her, though, and she resisted the urge to pull her robes up over her nose to cloak the smell. She did significantly lean away from the work station as she switched the pestle in her hand out for the bowl of blood, though, in an attempt to avoid the undesirable aroma emitting from it. With steady hands, she lifted the bowl above the brim of the cauldron and sloooooooooooowly poured the blood into the potion below. When it was almost empty, she steadied the bowl with one hand and picked the metal spoon up with the other, using the spoon to scrape out as much of the blood on the sides of the bowl as she could. Finished with that, she quickly switched the bowl out for the mortar and turned it upside-down over the cauldron so all of the powdered griffin claw drifted down into the cauldron below.

Perrrrfect.
