So... best to stay upright, and she plastered on a totally casual smile to cover up the fact that she'd almost leaned right into the bird poop.
"Me?" He didn't know? "Oh. Why would you need courage for that?" There was a teasing sort of grin on her face now, but she pressed on, "I'm Sophie... Sophie Brown?" She looked at him expectantly, then - Toby's best friend in the whole world? Wouldn't Toby's dormmate have heard of her?
...But what if Toby never talked about her? A look of horror crossed her face for the briefest of moments before she plastered back on her smile. Totally casual. It wouldn't be a big deal if Toby never went back to his common room and told the kid he shared a dorm with of their adventures. It wouldn't matter to her at all.
Her lip may have wibbled a little.
Kace smirked when she almost leaned against the wall. She almost got into the owl poop. He commented,
"I wouldn't lean against the walls if I were you. I mean i leaned against it and my shoulder was covered in poop. It wasn't fun." he shook his head chuckling. He smiled and said,
"Well to be honest, i am kind of shy about meeting new people...." he shrugged and then went to pet the other owls. He turned when she introduced herself,
"Well nice to meet you Sophie!" he said extending his hand.
"What brings you up to owlery of all days?" he said gesturing toward the nice weather outside.
