He liked her better for it, but wisely chose not to comment.
"Yup, this'll do just fine. Nice work," Mo held the door for Dora before zipping into the room to examine the blanket-work and the table waiting for them. "I was meant to bring cake, wasn't I? Like always?"
Dora nodded decidedly. It was a deal.
"Happy birthday, Marcus Orion."
She let him enter the room first, following and watching his reaction. Because it was him, she was expecting some sort of reaction and had
prepared herself for it, but when the one she was expecting didn't come she just raised an eyebrow without comment. No reaction was good too.
"You were. I didn't bring any food because it's your job." So that meant they were going cake-less for the last one? Dora shrugged, following behind him.
"We don't need it though, not the main attraction." The presents were.
