The redhead's stiletto boots made pleasant crunching sounds on the gravel drive as she marched down to the gate, her wand already out and being tapped in her hand as though it were a student beater ruler. Ezra was laying in the grass.
He'd taken to laying in his grass at home when his next door neighbors had moved in and he didn't want to play with their annoying little kids. So when he'd go in the backyard and they were in their's the boy would drop to the ground and lay in the grass and cloud or bird watch for a bit.
No one was here now bothering him but he'd just gone tree-climbing and was WORN OUT and decided to lay down for a bit before heading up to the Castle for dinner.
As he layed there he heard a crunching sound and he rolled over onto his back and peered at the lady. "Enemy target approaching main gate." the first year whispered through the blades of class that tickled his nose.
