She opened the door and was a little surprise to see someone else there. At least the student took the time to look presentable.

Not that long after she knocked the door had opened and a lady had walked out of it. Emmylou smiled up at the lady. This was her transfigurations professor, she hoped she was nice. The lady seemed nice but it was hard to judge whether someone was nice or mean. But any who, Emmylou was here to meet her professor before classes began.

Emmylou gave the professor a small wave. "Hello, I was just going around and meeting my new professors." her southern accent made her stick out from the rest of the students or so it seemed to her. "I'm a transfer. My names Emmylou Duchannes. I'm sorry if I interrupted you."
