Sigh. Yeah.
She placed her finger on the last word she had read and slowly lifted her eyes to meet his. Awwww. He was a cute kid. Lots of freckles, she noted. Probably not much younger than herself? She closed the book, leaving her finger on the word still, and her hand between the pages. "Um... Well, yeah? How else do you read?"
Wait wait wait.
Brain explosions? Was this kid for real?
"No. Why would my brain explode?" Head tilt. "Its just reading..."
Oh. The girl sighed.
Which couldn't be a good thing right? Was he bothering her. Kyroh frowned. He hadn't MEANT to bother her.
Making friends was not as easy as it looked.
"Well I mean..I didn't want to bother you or anything but..." The book DID look oddly familiar. Tilting his head to the side to try to catch the words on the spine of the book a lightbulb suddenly went off in his head. It looked familiar because his father had the SAME one at home.
"....that's Hogwarts a History." He grinned. But she already knew that yes.
"So I thought it was more like a reference book. Like a dictionary or something." He would never read the dictionary word for word.
"I didn't know people actually read it." He paused, a random question forming in his mind
"Would you read the dictionary word for word?" "And your brain would explode from the intake of too much information. I don't know if that's possible but I think that's the book that would do you in." It sounded like it was possible so it could have been right? Also-
"I'll be quiet now." If she wanted to go back to reading. Yes because Kyroh had not forgotten the sigh.
