The Ravenclaw was about to calmly explain that him being placed so far away from her made little sense and that to get the whole effect of her music, he'd need to be closer...but she suddenly reconsidered. No, Ves didn't have to snog him right away....and she'd probably do a better job with more space on her piano bench for arm movement. Poising her fingers over the keys, she played a quick procession (for a slight warm!up) and then paused. Grinning up at Benjy, Ves cleared her throat. "I really struggled with trying to find a song that would be fitting...So, I decided to do a little something different." A blush was already blooming on her face...because the inner!SUPER NERD was about to show.

Anyway, she was different herself in most ways. So, what better way to display her talent? Play what made you start piano in the first place, right?

Instead of some popular muggle song....or even some wrock jam, the melody that began filling the room was symphonic in nature. Nothing like individual song music...Yet soft, expressive, and climatic.
