"Oh no, I have a dog named Lucy. Had her since I was four." She was just a puppy when he got her.
"Yeah, it's a wicked awesome sport. You fly on broomsticks and throw balls and score and stuff." And that was a very, very vague description. "It's hard to explain. You'll see for yourself at Hogwarts. I want to play on the Slytherin team." Piers beamed excitedly and shifted the weight of all his robes to his other arm. Phew, those were getting heavy.
He started meandering towards the front counter. "I don't have my wand yet either! You can come with if you'd like and I can show you around the other shops, too." His dad would find him eventually, wherever he was. When he got to the front counter of the shop, Piers tossed his giant lump of clothes onto the counter, pulled out his coin sack and pulled out a fair amount of money for all the stuff he got. Good thing his dad had given him extra. Heh.
"So you've never seen magic before?" he asked as the shopkeeper bagged up his stuff. When he was all done, Piers grabbed his bags and stepped aside so he could wait for his new friend. And then they could go EXPLORE.
"
I suppose," Javy shrugged, "
It's not as bad when the neighbors help my family with it." It was curious to Javy life without having as much animals around. It seemed unheard of for him to even consider it. "
That's cool, my Uncle has a German Shepard named Lila around the same age who helps with the sheep."
Scoring balls on broomstick. "
Sort of like Rugby and Football, well just in the air.." He was interested in seeing a game of Quidditch now. "
It sounds like fun." Javy did notice Piers struggling with some of those robes. "
Here, hand me a few so they don't get dirty falling on the floor." Merlin knew the sort of feet and shoes that walked around here before being cleaned.
"
Sure, that sounds like a plan. My parents said I can go see them whenever I'm ready." Luckily they didn't say when, exactly. Javy then added his pile of clothes as well on the counter. He glanced at the amount of coins Piers had before quickly looking away. He had a handful, hopefully he would have enough for the wand too. So about that magic seeing.. "
A little.. some folks from the Ministry came by to explain it to my folks. We temporarily got to sit on a giant lizard instead of a couch." Javy liked that, even though his mother had a fit over it. Adding on just as his robes were bundled and bagged for him. "
But that's about it... You must of got to see lots of it growing up." Now that that was done, they could go explore and maybe explode stuff once they got their wands.
