Although Airey found the bit about the prefect not caring about her lion housemates complete rubbish. She was a very caring character - even if she would deny it.
He had seen such first hand with her star project during her first year.
But he was getting sidetracked, so thank you Mr. Kim for crashing him back down to reality with some well placed words. Mouth slightly hanging open, because he REALLY did not need it confirmed that he was the boyfriend, he silently passed the parchment to Miss Cambridge to let her do what she would with it. Ah, well yes. That did make perfect sense.
"While I DO appreciate the concern for my well being, Mr. Kim, I have to question your logic. If one were never to ask questions about things they did not know how would they learn and evolve?" Gain all those knowledge experience points necessary to level up? He did realize he was in school where there was an entire universe of unfamiliar words to his vocabulary, yes? "It is only natural to be inquisitive about such things." Wink. "Thank you for explaining it so clearly and concisely." Your answer was not very helpful Miss Cambridge, sorry. "Take two points."

"If you wanted to get cuddles," And Airey was just going to pretend he wasn't hearing this part, yeah? "then be impressive about it. Do whatever you're doing and make it out with barely a scratch...without hiding behind a boatload of padding--that stuff will get you killed if you fall the wrong way." Alexa didn't know what sympathy cuddles were, she hardly believed in them outside of extenuating circumstances.
Quite happy the Professor had decided to drop that part of the matter, Alexa took the parchment and happily incendio-ed it to the great big parchment heap in the sky to be with the many other bits of parchment torched before their time. "Can I have yours too?" She asked, looking over at Jun even as he began his explanation of boy toys.
Yeah....Lex figured the definition was somewhere along those lines. She was close enough and didn't need it in her vocabulary anyway. As for the winking Professor, she'd just pretend she never saw that, mhm.
Now that he understood and had awarded the boyfriend for his clarity and concision (Pfft Ravenclaw brains) he could stop being embarrassing, yeah? "I like to think you know I'm more responsible than the parchment says, right Professor?"...Otherwise they wouldn't have given her a badge? That's what everyone said. And that sounded oddly like the Headmistress' voice. The speech? "I'm thinking we should head inside now." You know, before more parchment started flying. Besides, if that WAS the speech then there would be FOOD.
Oh, that wouldn't be hard.
"Okay, good. Then I can go ahead and skateboard down some steps and live to tell the tale," Unless the stairs moved at the wrong time which would be really bad. But of course, Jun would have charmed the board into floating when the stairs moved under him. Or just jump when told to. But first, he'd have to learn how to ride and Bolton said he'd teach him. For exchange of candy, was it? Well, it was something Jun brought loads to school with him every time. So yeah, definitely was candy. He'll just have Bolton restock his bag for him at Hogsmeade. The least he could do was that.
And now back to Stargazers awkwardness.
Jun nodded, handing the parchment to Lex. He was usually the one who liked setting things on fire, but just not right now. The boy usually ended up with blowing things apart. Maybe later in the term.
"With all due respect professor, did you never hear the term when at school?" Or was he always studying? Let's not make another stars remark. They were getting old. Oh, at least Airey understood the term now and needed no more educating. And look at that! Jun earned himself two points--
WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT? Why only
TWO?
THREE WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER.
Maybe then Jun wouldn't have sassed the oblivious professor. Nonetheless, the boy nodded and accepted his two points. Not like he was ever going to get more for events like these.
"Glad I could be of help," And that speech.
"Right, heard the 'claws have a new head of house," Curiosity hit and Jun really wondered who it would be now.
Please, don't let it be someone lame.
But finally; FOOOOOD!
