Eliza tilted her head and listened to what he was saying. A blush came back to her cheeks. Before she could say anything, he had taken her hand and placed it on his chest. Her eyes widened and she gently pulled her hand back. Elizabeth hadnt noticed that she have had her arm on his shoulder until he moved it to his chest. She clasped her hands together behind her back and subtly took a few steps back. Eliza suddenly felt awkward so she didnt reply back to the melting heart stuff that he was saying. Elizabeth barely nodded at the human nature stuff, growing distracted.
She perked back up when he talked about walking to the store. Eliza nodded, "Yes... I think that is for the best." Elizabeth turned on her heel to face the direction of the store, "It is this way..." She started to walk slightly faster than she normally did down the alley. Her mind was going a hundred kilomiles a minute at the moment.
Eliza finally reached the entrance of the shop and pulled the door open. Elizabeth slid inside and looked behind her for Jose before looking at the cloaks in the shop. She needed a new black one but she wouldnt mind having some green, red, blue or purple ones. Eliza usually matched her cloak colors with her dress color for some odd reason.
Seeing her blush he smiled, well so far so good right? Hearing her respond as well was even better… then things turned for the worst for him, she had pulled her hand away from him and she even took steps back…. He tried not to show how much it hurt him that she didn't accept his affection, she was moving a lot faster than him… was she trying to run away.
At this point he didn't realize that he hand't said anything yet, should he though? would it make things worse? Coughing he followed her into the store. Staying near the entrance he let her do her shopping.
"its okay.. I'm just going to stay here" why was he being so emotional, he's only been around her a few times now and he's already confessing his love.
what is wrong with you Jose he said to himself. what is he going to do now.
