After a pretty cramped boat ride where they didn't get to meet the squid they were finally here. Kyroh was finally here. FINALLY INSIDE HOGWARTS CASTLE WHERE THERE WOULD BE MAGIC AND A WHOLE BUNCH OF OTHER STUFF!!!!! Literally bouncing on his toes his brown eyes shifted around to take in his surroundings. He nooot been in this room when he had visited before. But he knew its name. The Great Hall. It was were people ate and stuff but more IMPORTANTLY- there were floating candles and the ceiling looked like a night sky. With stars and stuff and it was AWESOME and- Kyroh waved his hands excitedly - accidentally smacking the kid who stood beside him. "Oops. Sorry."

Looking over at the kids at the tables Kyroh mentally began listing off the house names. He didn't care that much about the other kids getting sorted. He didn't even know them. The houses though, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. The only house that really mattered to him was the last one. Slytherin, because THAT was where he was going to end up.

"Scabior, Kyroh."

Uh. Eyes shooting up to the front, Kyrohs brows came together. That was him yes? "Why is my last name first? That's silly." And weird. Huh. Yeah. Wait- SORTING. Pushing his way past a few kids in front of him, Kyroh stumbled over to the stool, and stared at the hat for a few seconds. It was old. Really old. Like gray and faded and super old. Did it even work anymore? He didn't have a chance to voice his question before he was ushered onto the stool and the sorting hat was plopped on his head, covering his sight completely.

It was then when the hat began to speak.

Ahhh a Scabior, we have not had one of you in a while.

"That was my papa!" Kyroh answered back in excitement. Could he talk back to the hat? Well he was taking back to the hat. "He was a Slytherin, like you should make me. I'm surprised you even remember though 'cause you're kind of really old."

Tactless I see. Just like the others in your family. I can see why you think you'd belong in Slytherin.

Kyroh nodded, agreeing with the hat. He wasn't sure if it was suppose to be a compliment or an insult, but it mentioned Slytherin so then it had to be right, right? Even it it was old. Kicking his feat Kyroh waited for the hat to say more.

You seem to be caring. Relatively honest and loyal as well. You'd do well in Hufflepuff.

Uhhh what? Kyroh blinked. "No thank you. Not Hufflepuff. " One of his aunts was a Hufflepuff sure but Kyroh was not. He was a Slytherin.

Not Hufflepuff? I suppose- Gryffindor however-

"NOT GRYFFINDOR." The boy yelled. No one in his family liked Gryffindors. He couldn't be one of those! Then his family would not like him! "I can't be a Gryffindor. I'm a Slytherin please just say Slytherin so I can go now." He didn't like this at all. He didn't. He was suppose to be a Slytherin. Like his dad and his dad's, dad and maybe even his dad's, dad's, dad. Kyroh didn't know how far it went back but he knew ALL the Scabior males were Slytherins.

Slytherin? Oh yes boy, you do have some Slytherin traits. But I can so clearly see a thirst for knowledge in you.

What was this insane hat saying? Kyroh frowned, wringing his hands together. He was not impressed at all. "Here listen- how about you put me in Slytherin and when the adults decide that the need a better younger newer sorting hat i'll be one of the people that votes to keep you. How about it? Win win right?

The sorting hat was silent for a few moments. Are you bribing me?

"I wouldn't call it bribing, that doesn't seem nice. More like helping you." He paused. "Helping you to help m-."

"RAVENCLAW!"

The hat exclaimed to the students before Kyroh was even finished talking.Throwing off the hat, angry tears began to pool up in his eyes as boy pulled out his wand. "If I knew what the spell was for fire i'd BURN you with my wand!" Kyroh yelled before stomping his way over to the Ravenclaw table.
