Heh.
The origami star then fell to the table, rolled and then wobbled for a moment before coming to a halt. Hopefully Mr. Hirase wouldn't just tear the star to bits out of frustration and miss the message written inside.
And just in case the boy was bad with remembering appointments, Airey had hexed the parchment to imprint the date, time, and location of their dueling arrangements right across the boy's forehead in bold black lettering. Written backwards, of course. That way every time he looked in the mirror he would be able to read it and therefore be reminded. Heh. The hex had been activated the moment the paper had collided with his forehead, so the memo was already present. HEH! He should have known that if he got the piece of parchment back it would do something to him as well. But Kevin hadn't been thinking about that and as he turned around to look at the Staff table and see if Professor Flamsteed had opened up his airplane, he was struck in the head by ...something. Right between his eyes. He flinched as his arms made a wild gesture and knocked over the silverware on to the ground.
Seeing what the source was (a origami star? really...?) and he grinned. He had to admit, he kind of started to like the man but that did not mean he wasn't going to beat him though. He first bend down to pick up the silverware and then grabbed the star. He folded it up, giving the other students around him a nasty look in case they were watching as well and read the message.
Oh cool! So the Professor had not forgotten? Or maybe he had and just pretended he remembered. It was something Kevin would do. Well then it was settled. Saturday was the day he was gonna beat Flamsteed.

Plenty of new faces by the look of things. Tragic that he had missed some of the sortings. "So ... new Gryffindors! I hope you're going to help us win the House Cup this year?"
Hint. The answer is OF COURSE!
Hovering in place for a moment, Sir Nicholas eyebrows raised when his eyes fell on a certain young man who had not walked these halls for quite some time. "Mr. Escalante! Do what do we owe the pleasure of your company this evening? Haven't forgotten where the Slytherin table is now, have you?"
Completely unaware that the date , time and place of his duel with the Professor was now written backwards in bold black letters on his forehead, Kevin turned to look at the Gryffindor House ghost gliding to the table.
"Of course we're going to help win the House Cup this year!" he said.
"What kind of question was that?!" Especially now that he saw how many new Gryffindors they had. With a roll of his eyes, Kevin turned attention to another living person at the table and realised that it was the girl he had met in Diagon Alley.
"Yo Angel! You got the house of awesomeness i see!"
