Edward had some very valid points, and that got her to thinking. "You would expect better protection." This much was true, but maybe he DID have more protection than most? Of course that could be a stretch, but you could never know for sure what was going on in other people's heads.

They were coming up on the stairs that would take them to level two and Ainsley was not looking forward to climbing them especially in the near dark conditions. She turned to Alex and Edward hoping that one of them would take her look as a hint to go first.
