With Gus the toad on his left shoulder, Adi sat at the familiar Hufflepuff table. Of course he'd put Gus in his pocket as more persons joined him but right now he let the toad have some freedom while he talked to his Super Els.
"Super Els!'' the third year called out and scooted over to the girl who had saved him from a fall in the Duck Pond two years ago. "How are you?'' And that's when he noticed... "You're a prefect! Congrats!'' And without any thought, he hugged the girl. Quote:

Elodie had no time to respond to his first question because she was already being hugged by the little teen, and it was only fair that she hugged him back. "Hi, you." She'd missed him over summer. The one thing she always thought about over summer was how strange it was to see people around the common room and the castle on a daily basis to not seeing them for a few months. Straightening her hat, Leah walked towards the Hufflepuff table, this time from the entrance and not the sorting hat. It just felt different, but the second year felt excited for the start of the term. The first person she spotted was Adi, who was also the only Puffer she recognized at the table.
The girl would have went up and gave the boy a one-armed hug if he was not accompanied by an older girl... with a prefect badge! Leah had never seen a Hufflepuff prefect badge before, considering that the two Puff prefects were Head boy and girl last year. She immediately sat down opposite the two people. "Yo, Adi and prefect! I'm sorry I don't think I know your name. I'm Leah, second year." she smiled at the two of them. "Oh and hi Adi's toad." she waved at the toad on Adi's shoulder. "Did I hear something about lollipops?" Leah asked.
