Turning his head a bit, he wasn't really surprised to see a certain blonde now sitting on him. When did the compartment door even open? She was going to need to start wearing a bell soon. "You can say that. The bed in the Leaky Cauldron wasn't the best to sleep on," The whole week Jun tosses and turned on that forsaken bed. It needed to be condemned and thrown out. But yeah, guess no napping now. "I would say properly but seeing as you're sitting on me, and look comfortable, I'll just lay here and pretend I did," Shouldn't be too hard.
Jun looked down to see his ferret, now snoozing away without a care in the world. Speaking of pets. "Where's Felix? Weird not seeing you with him,"
Important information right there. If the Leaky Cauldron's beds weren't any good she could always pass this info on to her father so he wouldn't waste his time; not when he can afford better. Convenience had nothing to do with it because the man could apparate and was officially under obligation to no muggles who feared it.
"Bet you can't wait to get to your bed up in your Common Room, sounds like it'll be the best night's sleep you've had all week." Lex was looking forward to the lion Common Room, not necessarily for the bed but because she'd actually missed that place. Weird how that worked. And wasn't he considerate? Lex grinned down at him.
"I take it you don't mind me sitting here then? No telling when we'll hit Hogsmeade Train Station." Not that she was heavy...or planning to sit there the whole time anyway.
His question reminded her of why she'd left the Prefect's Compartment in the first place.
"He pulled another disappearing act on me. Left him in the Prefect's Compartment to get something off the trolley and he was gone when I got back. I've been searching the train but he's good at hide 'n' seek." Unfortunately.
"Good thing he's just as good at finding me. Reckon he'll turn up soon enough." If that sounded like an excuse it was because it was. She'd rather sit in here with him than go crawling around looking for a kneazle that was anything but lost.
