Hufflepuff Forever Interstellar Hitchhiker After being yanked aside as soon as he reached the prefect's compartment, Kaiden just stood there, slightly confused as always. No quidditch, that was... something. While the others stood their and argued the Hufflepuff captain processed things internally. It was quite a relief actually. It had taken him all term being comfortable being a captain, and when he was finally used to it, and even saw himself as fairly good at it, that match had happened. And it had caused him to do a lot of thinking. Thinking that no one probably even thought him capable of because they all thought he was stupid. But all of his thinking had nearly led him to telling Hadley he couldn't do it again. In the end, he had decided he would keep his feeling to himself, and continue out of duty. The same duty he had felt when he had trudged in with the prefects, just moments before. It was a relief though, knowing he wouldn't have to put up with the heat from all the other houses, and with a nod, he unclipped a badge, and handed it over to the Headmistress. Before he released it he said, "Just, make sure who ever gets it next knows how important it is." How important it was to have something Captain and Keeper Lady had had. "I....." Kaiden stopped and nodded. The sense of duty, the same one that had made him decide to remain Captain, had made him pick up the prefect's badge. "Okay," he said looking down at the badge in his hand, the one Milkshake had. He'd try to make those who had worn this badge before him. And Mouse, and Hadley. He didn't pin it on though. It made him feel.... not right.
