Inching forward at a snail's pace, that's what Maddison was doing. She stifled a yawn and glanced around the girl in front of her again, willing the kids to move faster. She was patient for the most part but this was getting sort of ridiculous. Surely the woman in charge was OLD or a chatterbox because there was no way this much time should have passed without her being able to get something to eat.

"What've you got against sweets?" The eleven year old had turned when she heard someone speak behind her and for no other reason than boredom, decided to respond. Perhaps this one had something interesting to say. "Allergic or something?"
