For example, that she got really nervous whenever he was THAT close to her that no words formed. It was as if her brain turned to mush.
Then he kissed her, and it was as if she really had NO brain. Scattered thoughts everywhere, hands gripping her bag tighter...
SNAP!
Breaking out of whatever spell he'd put her under, Beverly glanced down wide-eyed at her bag. She broke something inside. Raising her head, she shot him a sheepish grin."I...I think I remember now," she half whispered.
Oops.
Whatever Kennedy had talked to him about didn't matter cause he wasn't afraid of him anymore. well, not completely anyway. All he knew was he liked being friends with Beverly and even though she was a girl it didn't matter. they were still able to be friends and stuff and that was really all that mattered to him and all.
"Have you?" he poked her side softly.
"good, means you paid attention and stuff." to him. all the attention for him which, he really couldn't complain about, he liked having her attention really.
SmugJeremiahWasSmug.
He couldnt NOT just grin and chuckle lightly at her reaction to him kissing her... even just quickly, it wasn't the first time, surely. but he was sure he heard something snap
...............

"what was that?" please dont be her wand, that'd be the WORST,
"it wasn't your wand was it? please tell me you didn't just break your wand?" please tell me she was smart and had it in a holster somewhere ON her and not in her bag.
