Cris was just resting his eyes, when he first heard movement to the left of where he was sitting and then a voice asking whether he minded if they join him. Cris immediately opened his eyes and turned to see who the speaker was. It was Jasmine! The girl he had met on the school trip to Peru.

He quickly sat up and smiled at her. "Hi Jasmine. Of course I don't mind. Quick grab the other window seat before someone does," he gestured to the seat directly opposite his before belatedly realizing that the girl might not want to sit opposite him.

"Uh...Um...I mean sit anywhere you want. You have lots of choices to pick from since I'm the only one here right now," he quickly corrected himself before grinning up at her.

Then before Jasmine could find a seat, someone else came up and stood behind her. Cris craned his neck to see who it was.

"Hey Bay. Sure the more the merrier. Come on in. Where's Lux?" Cris invited Bay to join them even as he enquired about his other friend, Lux. He suspected that Bay and Lux were now dating...well he hadn't seen them together, but from what Sander had told him, Cris suspected that even if they weren't dating now, they would eventually.

...and even as he inquired about his younger friend, she popped up behind Bay.

"Hi Lux. I'm glad you found us. Would you like to join us n this compartment?" Cris invited her in too.

Then he made the appropriate introductions.

"Jasmine, you know Bay from our school trip, right? This is Lux. She's another friend of ours,' before leaning back in his seat again and looking at his friends. It was definitely strange to be surrounded by new friends, and Cris wondered whether he would make more before he graduated next year.
