Jasmine had finally made it to the train. She would soon be on her way to Hogwarts. In a way she was excited, but she was also sort of terrified as she had been every time she started a new school. Dragging her belongings, she peeked into several compartments hoping to find an empty one. After passing a few, Jasmine looked into the next compartment and was happy to see a familiar face. Was he asleep?

Knocking softly on the door, Jasmine slid it open. Hoping that she wasn't disturbing Cris, she said, "Hi there". "Mind if I join you?" She seriously hoped that he didn't mind because she had already started to make her way into the compartment. Jasmine was not so bold that she would sit down without an invitation and she was starting to worry that she had interrupted Cris' quiet/private/resting time.
