Luckily, his dad had taken his mom around for a tour, so he was left on his own for an hour or so to get some of his school stuff. So far, all he had was a stolen toad.
As he neared the robes shop, Piers was gaining ground on the leaping creature, but it was hopping towards a tight space between a group of people and a kid his age by the entrance.
Welp. He was going for it.
"WATCH OUT!" he yelled as he lept across the gap and dive-bombed the frog, hitting the other kid with like, half of his body as he did so. After laying there for a moment, he felt something wiggling beneath him and he popped his head up to see what it was. HAH! He caught the darn thing!
So after a few moments, Javy was getting bored. It didn't take long to make him bored standing around. Turning just about to go inside he heard some croaking. Frog croaking, to be exact.
"
Where did you come from?" He bent down to pick it up and hold it. Javy thought about examining it to see if there were any distinct differences between the frogs from the muggle area and the ones in the wizard area. He only knew so little and was getting a little excited at the thought of learning more about this new world... Until the collision that was.
"
Hey!" Javy yelled out as soon as he fell flat on his rump as some body was partially over his feet but the rest all over the ground. He supposed he could ask if the boy was okay, but honestly his first thoughts were on that frog he was holding before. The thought that it probably got squished from their collision vanished as soon as he heard the familiar croaks, in the other boy's hands now. "
...Is that yours?" What a shame, if it was, since he'll have to be nice enough to even look at it.
