Cosgrach didn't try to hide his gaping and examining her from head to toe. And that he liked what he saw very much. She truly looked great, ~~especially without kids,~~ and it took him some time to collect himself and focus on her eyes again.

"No, I wasn't," he said, and chuckled. SHE deserved the compliment, not him, but he'd take it any time.

"You look pretty," he said back softly: he really meant it. After a short pause, he turned to hold the door open.

"After you, Lady Victoria."
