Cris was glad to see that many of the students and staff has grabbed onto the ropes and were now pulling themselves to safety. The mudslide was slowly losing its momentum. The disaster was over.

He pulled himself over to the safe side before untying the rope from around his waist. Then he collapsed to the ground, his legs trembling and weak. Breathing heavily he looked over at his fellow expedition mates. Except for being covered in mud, everyone looked alright.

Thank Merlin! He thought to himself as he looked back up the hill wondering what had caused the mudslide.
