With muddy hands that were beginning to slide down the rope, Cris was glad for Jasmine's quick thinking as she grabbed a rope and pulled herself away from the mudslide. Now that he had both hands free he was able to pull himself up and away from the slippery mud and onto more solid, even though it was still slippery ground.

He heard Jasmine thank him, and believe it or not, he still had time to blush, before saying, "You would have done the same too," he smiled at her.

Then his attention was on the boy who had given him a hand up, trying to catch some of the students with ropes he was casting from his wand and Cris decided that he needed to help somehow too.

Quickly wrapping one end of the rope around his waist, he tied a knot and then he grabbed a couple more ropes before stepping back into the sliding mud again as he tried to reach out to grab anyone who was sliding by him.

"Quick, grab my hand!!," he called out.
