Ropes!! They were appearing out of nowhere but Cris wasn't complaining. Since Bay had let go off his hand, Cris now had a hand free to grab madly for one of those ropes. His finders brushed against one but failed to hold on. So he tried again. This time his fingers had a firmer hold.

The moment he grabbed on, he continued falling a few feet more before the rope picked up the slack and straightened. Cris could feel the tug and immediately found himself sliding towards the side...dangling by the rope but no longer falling.

Breathing heavily he held on tight to Jasmine, hoping the rope would hold both their weight.
