Michael knew that she had gotten him something but he would let her play her little game. He had gotten her a souvenir as well but he was not going to mention it, because she would pester the crap out of him until he gave it to her.

He immediately snaked an arm around her waist so that he could hold her close to him. After two months of separation, closeness was definitely required.

"And no doubt she is really excited about you being my girlfriend." Zahra was a Kettleburn after all and Cela clearly liked Kettleburns. "But in saying that she won't go against dad's wishes." And he really didn't think Cope would either.

Funny how she should suggest that..."Alexa suggested the same thing actually." Well not in those words exactly but that's basically what she had meant. It probably wasn't wise either to be bringing up Lex's name in Zahra's company but he wasn't about to keep it secret from her either.

"You think that will work though? Your father being who he is and my parents..." Did he need to say more? "They will have spies." Yeah it sounds crazy but it was true.
