Caelen had not so fond memeories of doing this last year, when almost everything was too big. Now since she grew two inches, everything would be too short. And yes, the redhead was being a little dramatic about her recent growth spurt, but those didn't happen often to her. So it was kind of exciting when it did. Like brag about it to your REALLY tall brother like he was supposed to care big. Though everyone was still taller than her. Which totally wasn't fair, person who decided heights. But, whatever. Maybe she would hit another growth spurt soon.

Entering the dressing room, she threw her stuff into a corner and began to try everything on. Okay, the skirt pretty much fit, though she would probably either need a belt or the next size down because the blue eyed girl didn't have hips yet. Or a butt. Yeah, she was pretty much a stick figure the whole way down. Though her brother was the same way. Except he was a dude and she was a girl so.....

And after trying on the pants and thinking really hard to herself about what kind of belts she owned, the thin girl made a not lifechanging discovery. It was the same thing for the trousers too. Stupid trousers. Couldn't she wear shorts to school every day of the year? She wasn't THAT clumsy, she'd only seriously harm herself once or twice.

The socks fit okay, and since those were the only thing that was fitting so far, the second year was going to allow herself that little victory. There weren't many in changing room world for short people, and those that did happen needed to be celebrated.

And of course the tie fit well. Although that was mainly because she tied it super tight so it wouldn't drape onto her shoulders. Because if her everything was small, that meant that she had a small neck too. Ties were hard to hold on it most of the time.

Looking in the mirror with everything on her body for a final conformation, the blue eyed girl beamed with excitement. This was going to be her second year! She wasn't going to be one of the youngest kids in school anymore! And the girl with the shoulder length hair got to learn new things. And speaking of new, since her new haircut, growth spurt and braces, the kid looked like a whole new Caelen! And it was hard to say which Caelen she liked better, because even though the old one was cute and smart, this one had her best friend going to Hogwarts with her.

And this year, Caelen was determined to talk to more people and not just focus on the schooling aspect of school. Because she didn't want to leave Hogwarts only knowing one person. That was lame. And boring. The freckle faced girl wanted to have people to talk to and do homework with all of the time. Because that sounded fun.

Putting her purple shorts and her gingerbread man tank top on, the second year student adjusted her headband and walked out of the dressing room, making a mental note to replace the pants.
