Marisol walked into the shop. She'd always imagined her first wand fitting as something magically memorable, but honestly, she just felt tired. That wasn't the new student's fault, as she'd moved from Seville yesterday. She had packed her bags and prepared in all ways for the relocation, and now she was exhausted from the excitement.
Plus, she only just spoke a lick of English. How would she communicate? The clerk wouldn't know what the girl wanted! It wouldn't end there. What about school? Marisol wanted to tear her hair out in frustration, but she was too tired to think.
Mari hardly noticed when a measuring tape started to do its work. She should be jubilant about starting her wizarding education, but it was a drag to move. The girl was sure however, that when she got some sleep she would be amazed to attend the best magical school in all of Europe. For now, she yawned.
