He was off duty after all and the people around were a mixture of muggles and magical folk. As such he didn't readily recognize a young boy he had met in passing at one of Gryffindor's past matches as he ran off in the distance. But the form of a certain woman coming up beside him and matching his long-legged stride was hard to miss.
His gaze passed beside him to Emily, silently acknowledging his boss' presence as they both continued to walk. "Indeed it is," he remarked in agreement. Apparently he hadn't been the only one with the idea concerning the park on their time off. Bennett's response didn't require further elaboration, so she was happy enough to let that conversation die. And in fact, she was willing to let any and all conversation die. It wasn't her strong suit. It was a skill she was developing, and with the right company it came easily enough... with Bennett though, it was still a chore, but this was in no way a reflection of him as a person.
Her eyes narrowed slightly as she watched Zeke stop and talk to strangers, apparently giving them directions as she saw him pointing and stuff before giving them a wave. She returned it, reluctantly. Yes yes yes, she was watching him, she knew he knew, they were fine. Her eyes didn't leave the boy even as he continued to the flat grass. "Is this what you do with your weekend, Bennett?" she asked, perhaps a little curious. Loiter around parks company-less. Not so long ago she'd have thought this was fine, but she was fast becoming used to not being alone, so on closer consideration, it seemed almost sad.
