And nommed some more. He though about his answer why was he here? What brought him here? Did Summers want to hear his whole life story? Or just the here and now of why he was here? The Slytherin was sure Summers knew his life story, or by now he should. "Mmmmm food? I was looking for Adel, but you're the next best person." Grin grin. Nom nom.
"What's up with you, bro?" Because yeah he wanted to know how his bro was and stuff. Alec had scooped up a good portion of his lasagne but, right as he was about to take a bite of it, his eyes landed on Asher and... he stopped. And stared. And tried not to laugh, which caused his body, especially his shoulders, to shake. He didn't even know why he was laughing but... SNORT. "Yeah, it is," Nodding was happening. "Were you hungry, mate?" Unless he just... really liked lasagne.
And that forkful of lasagne he had scooped up before? Into his mouth it went.
He was okay with Asher taking a while to answer -- was it a while? -- since... it was Asher, you know. The guy wouldn't hide things from him... right? ... Shrug. He used this opportunity to pour himself and the Slytherin some pumpkin juice. "Really?" GRIN. "I'm glad I'm your second best." Really really. And he knew that the girlfriend had to come first. "And you'll always be my Slytherbro."
Him? "Been studying. And I've got some great news for you." More grinning. "What about you?"
