"Hope you're doing well," he murmured in agreement. Maybe he at least felt better than he looked. But he didn't share his wife's need to offer a hug.

This really wasn't good. "I can't believe they haven't figured this out yet. I was at a match before and saw that students had been having this aging issue, but professors too." She just kept frowning with worry. A smile coming back at Bentley's son's name, "Two already? Oh gosh, I guess he isn't a baby anymore. I bet he is just full of energy." How excited for her to have such a fun age. "I've heard two can be trying though." She'd keep Gunnar little as long as he wanted.
A small blush might have crossed her cheeks a bit about the heard about things. Yes she assumed all the professors had heard about things, "Oh yes we've been super busy." She glanced at Ethan smiling at her husband. "We got married and have a son now. His name is Gunnar." She pulled her purse around and pulled out a picture, of course she had her pictures, what mom didn't? "This is him." She was grinning from ear to ear over getting show him off. Seren shot Ethan a smile, my my myyyyy, he has turned out to be a fine young gentleman. She'd have wiggled her brows at Minerva, but didn't think it appropriate. How sad.
"It's so good to see you, Ethan," she acknowledged warmly,
"I can see life outside Hogwarts is treating you well." Which was more than she could say for the rest of them stuck here. Ugh.
"Oh I know, it's all sorts of ridiculous," she agreed with Min,
"Looooook, my arms wobble in unsightly ways, and the wrinkles, I have wrinkles." All those hours dedicated to moisturising herself with dragon dung, wasted.
Wasted. That being said, she had managed to age more gracefully than some of the others, so it wasn't a complete loss.
The baby talk was perhaps a little upsetting, but she smiled nonetheless.
"Something like that... though I hardly see him during the school term, and with everything going on, I don't think it's safe to be near him." And it was killing her. Killing her on the inside.
And aaawwwwwww, such a bright and happy couple.
"I'm trilled for you both!" she clapped, leaning closer to admire the baby photo. Her eyes were bad okay, so there was some intense and close staring.
"Gunnar, such an interesting name," she commented in a sing-song voice.
"He's a handsome little devil, and look at mine.." she added, fishing in her pocket for the photo she ALWAYS had on her person - there was nowhere she didn't take him.
"My Derfael."
