She got eye rolls at that comment. EYE ROLLS. As if she let their apartment get that pungent from pet odours. And he had a suspicion he knew what she was implying with 'and the like'. Or rather, who. She didn't seem to have quite the same care for manure as he did, though since she still dated him, she couldn't exactly hate it either, right?

"You can check if you want..." he said, holding the vial out for her to take. There was no point him smelling it, given she'd be far more sensitive to it. "He just wants to be friends, I think," Spike said. "He's very affectionate, and he probably just wants you to recognise that. Not that I'm saying you have to, but that's probably why he keeps going after your scent." And really, who could blame the niffler for following Addy's scent? Spike could inhale that heady smell all day.

Make stuff? That sounded like fun! "Does that mean we get to go to the muggle DIY store?" His looked at her hopefully with wide eyes. DIY stores were awesome! Drills and saws and other noisy (and possibly dangerous) electrical things. SO. MUCH. FUN. "If so, that's a totally awesome idea...and we can't have you sneezy." He shook his head for emphasis. "Any particular type or colour?" Who knew if Yoda was that fussy, since Yoda was ALWAYS fussy with Spike. He was glad Addy's familiar was protective, but sometimes the kitty was just a little too full on and grumpy when it came to him. Spike could tame most creatures, but nope, when it came to Yoda he STILL got scratched on occasion. SIGH.

Was she impatient about being in the store too long already? But they hadn't even found the brush SHE wanted yet. Huh. "Still not joining me then?" he asked with a sigh. "Not even to see me all dressed up for more than five minutes?" Didn't she know how much he wanted her there, so he could show her off as the most beautiful girl in the room? "Who will I dance with?"
