Or else she could have just put Schuyler in an ordinary broom closet. Made sense yeah? Though the smell of the lilies was making her head hurt slightly. It was a bit......too much. Though she was trying to ignore that fact for now.
It was obvious that Schuyler had no idea what Olly had just thanked her for and the Hufflepuff wasn't about to clarify.
It sounded silly even in her head. So no saying it out loud. Yes, mooooving on.
Schuyler was on the floor now, amidst the flowers. Olly tried not to frown too much when the Gryffindor plucked a few of the daisies. "Or you could just grow them there." IN POTS!!!!! It was only then that she joined her girlfriend on the floor, slowly, very slowly sitting down across from her.
Well, Olly had gotten her wish then. Because Schuyler was very happy right now. And all she really needed in order to be that way was Olly. Just her.
Though don't get her wrong, the flower fields WERE totally an added bonus.
The other girl hadn't elucidated about the thank you, and it passed without much thought on Schuyler's part. She made a slit in the bottom part of one of the daisy stems with her thumbnail, then passed a separate flower stem through the hole she'd just made. She didn't need to look up to know that Olly was frowning. It was in her voice as much as it was present on her face. Schuyler's mouth curved upwards very subtly. "West shares your preference for potted plants." The first time they'd met, he'd said as much. And as much as Schuyler loved flowers, she preferred bouquets over potted plants. There was a beauty about bouquets that couldn't be duplicated by something in a ceramic pot.
It simply came at the price of imminent withering.
Deft hands made quick work of the daisy chain and now it was a flower crown. She smiled as she finally looked to her girlfriend, who was now seated across from her. "C'mere. I'll crown you."
