She only stopped there because she ran out of oxygen, her lungs weren't as durable as they once were. While she caught her breath, she watched for any reaction from Jeremiah.

Running a hand through his hair, mostly to get it out of his face, he gave her a friendly grin. "seems you got up here just fine though." she did, for someone who was suffering from that horrid old!spell that he was LUCKY to be spared from. he was practically the youngest ,and best lookin, in the school. nott hat he would brag about or anything but it was a fact that he observed and kept to himself.

Yes, a favor, right, she had said that in the little letter yeah? Maybe she wanted another book? Should he of brought some with him?! He wasnt sure. If anything he'd go back down the stairs and through the castle and UP more stairs to get some for her. she didnt need to do all that walking and stuff.

Just as that thought ranthrough his mind Beverly mentioned the word DIE and Jeremiah had to just blink at her....

He wasnt having his friends drop like flies around him, that was not an option for this Lion."plus, i say you're looking younger and younger each time i see you." he said with a grin moving out of the doorway and taking a step or so closer to her in the middle oft he room. He also ignored that last bit cause he refused to believe she was near death.
