After getting a safe, Muggle-free distance away from the café, Tori apparated straight to her boss's door. As cool as she thought it would be to get herself arrested, she wanted to write a smashing headline more. Besides that, she'd always thought her first arrest would be alongside Paulie and with Aspen doing the arresting.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK. The redhead banged her fist against Basil's door. He'd BETTER be in. She could have sent him a patronus or an owl, but he was probably taking his lunch inside anyway. "OPEN UP, Boss, it's your favoooooorite ginger here!" she shouted at the door for good measure.
And then, while she waited, she took out her compact and strawberry lip gloss, and did a quick touch up. One never knew when a cute blonde Auror might need persuading... to stop being a dunderhead. One never knew!
