Oh wait, Sophie's was. It was turning slowly in clockwise direction and it was red with only a hint of green. Ian's was halfway green.
"So, you know you should reverse the whole wrong step, and you also know if it's moving, you can use your wand. Go ahead." Try to correct it.
Ian listened. he liked the idea of starting over. Of course he wanted the satisfaction of knowing he'd fixed his mistakes.
He took his wand and began to reverse the direction of the potion, trying to get it to move back in a clockwise direction.He hoped this would bring some measure of normalcy back to what it should be. He was grateful the professor took the time to help. He really wanted to finish out the year on a better note than how it appeared to be headed.
