Well, sorry Mr. Isaacs, but HE wasn't ruining his face too, so he didn't take a step back or forward, but just watched it and asked the most logical question on Earth: "Why don't we call someone from the Creatures Department and lock this room magically until they come?"
Like, no one had to suffer. Quote:

Lawrence spoke up at last. "To make sure that this thing does not fly out, that is." This was what Heather had mentioned earlier, and no one had volunteered for it, so... Lawrence headed to the door and stood there like a security guard. He checked for his wand in his pocket again, just in case. At least maybe it was safer here. Either she was awfully brave or there were other risks that she didn't know of. Or those three men were real cowards. One of those statements had to be true in order for all the reactions to make sense. Although, it did look like a vicious bird, it didn't struck her to be THAT dangerous. Did they know something about the bird that got them to not help in capturing it.
And they got another one to guard the door. She wanted to point out that they'd rather have someone cover more distance in case the bird flew.
But she didn't let her focus crack on that. Or on the Minister's Assistance's question. Heather got the hang of that, anyway. Text Cut: Heather, Yo! Quote:

Back to business. With a nod towards her companion, Lavone dropped her net to the floor making sure not to cause any sudden movement that might set the bird off. Now that she only had the cage in her hands, she got a good hold of it and angled it so the door of the cage was facing the bird's direction. Making things easy and all. It occurred to her that it'd be loads easier if they could just lure the bird into the cage. But that would require lots of time and knowledge about what the creature liked and disliked. "I got the cage," she told Heather making it known that she was on the plan. Were the rest having a good time watching? Or maybe the show hadn't really started yet. Since the bird hadn't moved.
