Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Brynn sat on one of the benches in the courtyard, basking under one of the sunbeams that illuminated her spot on this warm Spring day. She had thought about sitting with her legs tucked under her, but her joints didn't move that way anymore. Even though her body felt like she was about 80, she didn't look quite so bad on the outside anymore. Not with the potions and spells she had learned to make herself look closer to her actual age. It was just too bad she spent so much of her time doing that sort of thing that she was really too tired to do much else.
Hogwarts certainly hadn't been what she expected. She was once so excited to come here but that seemed so long ago and now she was just too tired to do anything but maintain a relatively youthful appearance. She couldn't even keep up with her homework and studies, not that it really held her attention anymore. The redhead was sort of wishing for summer and going home, seeing Mimi and Maddox again. She wondered if they had any more puppies. Thoughts of home drifted into thoughts of her mother. She didn't want her to worry so her owls weren't quite as forthcoming as maybe they should be but once she did get home she hoped her mom could get her to a real healer. Because it didn't seem like the school was doing a whole lot to help and, like she told that very handsome nice reporter, she was a little worried about where this would lead if it wasn't cured soon.
