Ah, his first visitor in his new office! Cale had been sitting comfortably at his desk, feet propped up on the edge as he read the latest issue of the Prophet. No news yet on anyone getting into the Ministry. Ugh. How much longer would this last?
He stood up and straightened out his suit by brushing it off. "Come in!" he called, wiping the bit of dirt from his shoes off his desk. Just in case it was the Minister or something.
Come in? COME IN?! That was all he had to say? Anna raised her wand and flung the door open so quickly that it banged against the wall.
"CALE MARKUS NEWELL!" she exclaimed. Oh, yeah. The wife was mad. Furious, even. "Did you have to pick this place of all the abandoned places in London?! I can barely walk in here it stinks so badly, and you'll come home smelling like a fish. Eww. It'd take WAY too many charms to get the smell off his clothes each and every day.
AHEM.
"Anyway, I came to have lunch with you, but...if we have to eat here, the deal's off," she said, her nose wrinkled all thanks to the stench in his office. Then suddenly that stench got WAY too overpowering, and Anna felt her stomach do a somersault.
"Uhh..." Yeah, that was all that came out. Word-wise, that is. What else that came out was vomit--and a whole lot of it--all at Cale Newell's feet.
