Tessa normally would have been fidgeting in the chair by now- but she just didn't have the energy. She tried not to think about that, and focused on Lux and the book. "I hope so," she replied glumly, but again, pushed those thoughts away.

"Well, despite the action in that book, the couple does get sappy when they're together. Wesley was quite amazing if I remember correctly," she said with a wide grin. He was smart, could fight with a sword... she wondered briefly if Sander could sword fight? Anyway... "Oh, that's right," she said with a nod. "Sounds like a fun book. Did you reach the swamp yet?" she asked with a grin.
