Giggle. Louis looked like he had seen a ghost. Lux would have been worried for him if it looked like he was about to keel over and have a heart attack, but seemed as if everything was okay. With a smile on her face, she gave a curtsy as it was her usual form of greeting him.
Louis smiled as Lux greeted him casually. When the girl gave a little curtsy, he playfully returned the gesture with an exaggerated formal bow. “M’lady.” He’d almost forgotten his Squire manners.
“Not a lot, no,” he answered her question with a shrug. “It’s been pretty calm since the Valentine’s dance,” he added, looking over at one of the portraits absentmindedly before turning his gaze in Lux’s direction. There was the slightest hint of a smirk on his face. “That was a pretty eventful night, wasn’t it?” Hmmmmm?
