The idea of him going first? Alec nodded before sitting up a little. Just a little. "Okay, here goes!" He picked up his wand and cleared his throat. Was she ready? "Frontis Allevatus!" SWISH!

... Pause. BLINK. SQUINT at the girl's face. "I... don't think anything happened."
