Theo smiled down at his lap and watched his red raw hands. He rubbed them together but oooooouch.
"Fine." Wasn't gonna tell the truth, was he? "Fine, yeah... just tired." In general. Theo was always tired these days. Exhausted, in fact. "What about you?" He stuck his still-freezing hands into his pockets and looked over to her.
Game got boring quick when he was sitting here with Dora.
"You looked dashing." She didn't get to say, but she had noticed. Just like she noted how she didn't get her dance, but that was okay too. She'd just snag that some other time.
"I didn't think it appropriate to, all things considered." Her eyes stayed on his face mostly because it had changed a lot, but eventually moved to his lap since it seemed so interesting to him. She inclined her head at his hands, even if he couldn't see.
"What's up with your hands?"
Was it obvious she was loosing interest in the game? It was obvious, but she still stole little peeks at the pitch whenever the noise of the crowd intensified.
"I'm alright. Been busy." With all the things. It also wasn't appropriate to go into detail about those things.
