It had seemed a while since he had been here last to watch a match, but in reality it had been less than a year since he had come to sit with Minerva. Though nearly two years since he had actually played in a match itself. Perhaps it was just that a lot had happened since then that made it seem even longer. But when Min suggested that they come to see a match, especially one between their former respective houses, Ethan agreed.
He tried to think who might still be on the team since he was on last. He knew o was Captain last year and would expect him to be this year as well. Maybe Nigel and Aidan too.. but the rest he was sure would be ones he didn't know. Of course some of Min's old team would probably playing for the Puffs too. At any rate, he was sure they'd have a good time.
Carrying some snacks and a blanket in one arm, he held onto Min's hand with the other as they walked up into the stands. How nice it was that those annoying turnstiles were gone. But.. it was empty. "Are we early?" he asked as he found them an optimal seat.. since they had their pick. Maybe he had gotten the time wrong.
Minerva held onto Ethan's hand as they mad their way up the stands. She was so excited to see her old team play. Her family really. She missed them loads. She knew Alec, Kaiden, Lottie, and Ella would be playing. Was she missing anyone? She wasn't sure, but if she were she'd remember quickly seeing them. She also was excited to see Mo and Nigel playing again. Of course it was always fun seeing Aidan and Alec race for the snitch. Oh this was going to be super fun and she just couldn't keep it in. Her smile and light hearted step showed her excitement.
Memory of that final match in her head, she looked around. "I gues we are early. There's Theo it looks like." She waved to the Slytherin, "Hey Theo" she gave another smile before looking again. "Let's sit over there." She pointed and then clutched her best friends Jacket before she could make a run for it. "What do you think Ari?" She beamed knowing she kind of forced her to come with them, but she needed to get out and socialize it would do her some good.
Taking a seat she beamed, "I hope it's a good match. Though Puffs are sure to win." She joked and nudged Ethan a bit. She pulled out the snacks and offered some crackers to Ari, "Hungry?" Leaning back towards Ethan she kissed his cheek, "I'm so glad we came today hot keeper boy." She chuckled before taking a bite out of a cracker. Oh and there was something else. She pulled a thermos out of the bag, "I didn't forget our little tradition either." She handed him over his espresso. Of course she would have brought that.
Why was he coming here again?
Bart looked around at the empty stands. Well there weren't many people here so it couldn't have been a match, but wasn't he meeting someone or maybe more people here? He scratched at his bald head and wished he would have put a hat on. It was cold with no hair, really. Shuffling his slippers across the stands he figured he walked all this way a break was going to have to happen. Now that he was sitting he squinted towards the pitch.
Wait there was a match today. He was there to watch his best friend play. That was it right? Merlin he couldn't remember, but whatever he didn't care. He was going to just deal with it and sit for a while before shuffling back to the castle for a nap. Maybe a nap would happen right here if he felt like it. Raising a bit he left one go thinking no one would hear it anyway. There were like a few people but not really close to him, he'd probably be safe.
